This role is to serve as an on-site logistics execution role bridging Magna’s plant floor and the domestic team. Responsible for inbound material anomaly control, rework part demand follow-up, and coordination of physical inventory and equipment checks.
Responsibilities:
1. Verify incoming materials for packaging damage, quantity discrepancies, and part defects. Coordinate with Magna’s logistics team to confirm issues, report anomalies to the domestic team in a timely manner, and track through to closure.
2. Collect and organize on-site rework part requests; validate part information and priority levels; manage the full flow from rework part receipt to issuance, ensuring supply for production rework.
3. Coordinate regular physical inventory counts of materials, tooling, and equipment. Reconcile actual vs. system data, identify variances, investigate root causes, and adjust records to maintain accurate inventory.
4. Operate both Magna and XPeng logistics management systems; accurately record receiving, inventory, and rework part movement data. Maintain warehouse orderliness and 5S standards; support on-site logistics process improvements.
Requirements:
1. Vocational school education or above; Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
2. 3+ years of hands-on logistics/warehousing experience in an automotive plant; familiar with the full cycle of material receiving and inventory counting.
3. Solid computer skills; proficient in WMS and Office; able to quickly learn Magna and XPeng internal business systems.
4. Fluent in German for on-site communication and document reading; basic English reading/writing preferred; Mandarin Chinese preferred.
5. Adaptable to factory pace; detail-oriented and disciplined; basic cross-party coordination skills.
