This role is to serve as a senior frontline rework technician responsible for both mechanical and electrical rework on finished vehicles. Proficient in both parties' production systems to ensure rework closure before delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform rework on vehicles coming off the final assembly line, covering mechanical issues (interior, chassis, fastener adjustments, etc.) and electrical issues (connectors, basic circuits, common electrical inspection faults). Complete rework per standards and verify results to meet delivery schedules.
2. Accurately enter rework details, fault causes, and repair outcomes into Magna and XPeng's production/rework management systems; update vehicle status in real time.
3. Strictly follow work instructions and safety regulations; inspect and maintain rework tools and test equipment; uphold 5S and orderly workflow on site.
4. Support quality and process engineers in issue reproduction, corrective verification, and batch troubleshooting; assist assembly and debugging stations when needed.
Requirements:
1. Vocational/technical school education or above in Automotive Repair, Mechatronics, or related fields. Relevant technician or electrician certification preferred.
2. 3+ years of rework or assembly experience in automotive final assembly; familiar with complete vehicle assembly process; capable of independently handling common mechanical and electrical faults.
3. Solid computer skills; proficient in MES or similar production systems for data entry; able to quickly learn Magna and XPeng internal systems; basic Office proficiency.
4. Fluent in German (read work instructions, communicate on site); basic English reading/writing preferred; Mandarin Chinese preferred.
5. Valid Austrian work and residence permit; adaptable to shift work; strong hands-on ability; detail-oriented and responsible.
