Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead sourcing initiatives and negotiation strategies for automotive component categories, with strong expertise in tariffs, customs regulations, and international trade barriers.
2. Develop country-specific procurement and fulfillment strategies to balance cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and regulatory compliance.
3. Manage the full supplier lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, qualification, performance management, and relationship development. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure smooth procurement execution.
4. Monitor market intelligence and technology trends, conduct value analysis, establish framework agreements, and execute dynamic commercial negotiations to achieve annual cost reduction targets.
5. Identify and mitigate procurement compliance risks, ensuring all sourcing activities comply with applicable regulations, trade policies, and internal governance requirements.
6. Participate in the development and continuous improvement of procurement processes and policies. Conduct industry research on automotive components and provide strategic insights to support long-term sourcing planning.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplines.
2. 5–8 years of experience in international procurement and global sourcing, preferably within the automotive, EV/NEV, or electronics industries. Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes for core automotive components and cross-border trade operations.
3. Solid knowledge of international trade compliance, import/export regulations, and supplier compliance management.
4. Proven expertise in procurement strategy development, supplier qualification and compliance assessment, cost analysis, and commercial negotiations. 6. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to conduct business negotiations and cross-cultural communication in English.
