Job Summary
The Flash Charging Operations Executive is responsible for supporting the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance coordination, and performance management of BYD's flash charging network. This role ensures charging stations operate efficiently, supports issue resolution, coordinates with service providers and stakeholders, and contributes to delivering a reliable charging experience for customers.
Job Description
- Monitor the daily performance, availability, and operational status of flash charging stations across the network.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with internal teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Respond to operational issues, service disruptions, and customer complaints, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Track charging station uptime, utilization, and operational KPIs, preparing regular performance reports and analyses.
- Support incident management and troubleshooting activities by coordinating with engineering and technical support teams.
- Maintain operational records, maintenance logs, service reports, and asset documentation.
- Liaise with utility providers, site partners, vendors, and external stakeholders regarding operational matters.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and support the implementation of process optimization initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in operations, maintenance coordination, facility management, infrastructure operations, energy, telecommunications, or EV charging industries.
- Basic understanding of EV charging infrastructure, electrical systems, maintenance processes, and operational workflows is preferred.
- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or service providers is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.

The Flash Charging Team plays a critical role in accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles by developing and expanding BYD's fast and ultra-fast charging ecosystem across Indonesia. The team is responsible for identifying strategic charging opportunities, building partnerships with key stakeholders, and ensuring customers have convenient and reliable access to charging infrastructure.
Working closely with internal teams including Sales, Aftersales, Network Development, Product Planning, Engineering, and Government Relations, the Flash Charging Team supports BYD's long-term vision of creating a comprehensive EV ecosystem. The team collaborates with property developers, commercial partners, utility providers, charging operators, and government institutions to deploy charging solutions that enhance customer experience and strengthen BYD's market competitiveness.
