Job Summary
The Sales Development and Capability Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, delivery, and evaluation of sales capability programs for BYD Indonesia. This role focuses on improving sales team performance through structured training, product knowledge enhancement, sales process development, and continuous capability-building initiatives across internal teams and dealer networks.
Job Description
- Develop and deliver sales training programs for internal sales teams and dealer sales consultants.
- Support the creation of training materials, modules, presentations, and learning tools.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify capability gaps and improvement areas.
- Provide product knowledge, sales process, customer handling, and selling skills training.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance data.
- Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Network, and Training teams to align training content with business needs.
- Support sales development initiatives, coaching programs, and capability-building projects.
- Maintain training records, reports, and progress updates for management review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Psychology, Education, or related fields.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales training, capability development, learning & development, or sales operations.
- Experience in automotive, retail, FMCG, technology, or customer-facing industries is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Good understanding of sales processes, customer journey, and performance improvement.
- Able to create training materials and deliver engaging learning sessions.
- Proactive, structured, detail-oriented, and able to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.

The Sales Development and Capability Training team plays an important role in strengthening the sales capability of BYD Indonesia. The team works closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Network, and Dealer teams to ensure sales talents are equipped with the right knowledge, skills, and mindset to deliver strong business performance and excellent customer experience in Indonesia’s fast-growing EV market.
