Job Summary
The New Media Channel Supervisor is responsible for managing BYD Indonesia’s livestreaming operations to support lead generation, sales conversion, dealer engagement, and digital customer interaction. This role will oversee livestreaming strategy, execution, performance monitoring, dealer livestream training, and the implementation of livestream-related projects such as Power Stream.
Job Description
- Manage end-to-end livestreaming operations across new media and digital channels.
- Develop livestreaming strategies to generate sales leads, increase customer engagement, and support business conversion.
- Coordinate livestream schedules, content flow, product highlights, host preparation, and campaign execution.
- Monitor livestream performance, lead quality, audience engagement, and conversion results.
- Provide training and guidance for dealer teams to improve their livestreaming capability and performance.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Dealer, Product, and Digital teams to align livestream activities with business objectives.
- Support the implementation and improvement of the Power Stream project.
- Prepare reports, performance analysis, and recommendations for livestream optimization.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Digital Media, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in livestreaming operations, new media, digital marketing, social commerce, or content operations.
- Experience in automotive, EV, retail, e-commerce, social commerce, or digital agency is preferred.
- Strong understanding of livestreaming platforms, audience engagement, lead generation, and sales conversion.
- Experienced in creating livestream concepts, managing hosts, scripts, product selling points, and operational flow.
- Good training, presentation, and coaching skills, especially for dealer or sales teams.
- Analytical, creative, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus but not mandatory.

The New Media and Marketing team plays an important role in strengthening BYD Indonesia’s digital presence, customer engagement, and sales lead generation. The team works closely with Sales, Product, Dealer, Digital, and Marketing teams to build impactful livestreaming activities, improve dealer capability, and support business growth through new media channels.
