Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
- Process, verify, and reconcile incoming customer payments accurately and on time
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances with the general ledger and maintain accurate financial records
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment status
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare accounts receivable reports, aging analysis, and collection performance metrics
- Collaborate with Sales, Treasury, and other Finance teams to resolve billing and payment
- issues
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and corporate procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar Finance role.
- Solid experience performing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Previous experience working in a multinational company is highly preferred
- Advanced English (written and verbal) is required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is mandatory
