The Opportunity
InCharge Energy is in search of a dynamic
Order Fulfillment Specialist who will play a pivotal role in supporting our growing Order Fulfillment team. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities—from managing incoming orders and contracts to asset and subscription registration. Under the guidance of an Order Fulfillment Lead and in close collaboration with operational teammates, this role ensures the seamless progression of orders from initiation through completion. Effective multitasking and strong cross-functional communication are key to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Receive and process orders for EV charging equipment installations and services with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Serve as the main point of contact between customers, the service team, account managers, manufacturers, and subcontractors
- Address and resolve order discrepancies, installation issues, and subscription-related concerns
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, supporting national and regional programs based on assignment
- Communicate order updates and respond to inquiries from customers and key account contacts
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and other internal portal systems
- Issue purchase orders to subcontractors and facilitate invoice approvals with Order Fulfillment Leads
- Complete asset and subscription registration through guided Salesforce flows based on products sold
- Collaborate with the Customer Support and Service teams to address post-installation needs
- Support the Asset Specialist in assigning and registering assets to the correct customer locations
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current on Order Fulfillment procedures
- Respond to emails and phone inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Escalate issues to management when necessary
Your Experience and Capabilities
- 1+ year of experience in a detailed project coordination or high-volume customer-facing role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM and dispatching tools (e.g., Zendesk)
- Background in EV, solar, battery, or related industries is a plus
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on tasks
- Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, but not required
US Salary Range
$24—$25 USD
