FAQ: Is this the right role for you? What will I be doing?
Keeping high-performance CNC and NC machinery production-ready. You’ll troubleshoot multi-domain systems, perform structured PMs, and complete precision installations and calibrations that keep our plant moving.
- Diagnose and correct issues across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication systems.
- Follow electrical PM check-sheets, verify alignments, analyze findings, and coordinate adjustments.
- Install, repair, test, and calibrate AC/DC equipment: motor-starting and AC magnetic circuits, pilot devices, pressure/limit switches, and solenoid valves.
- Specify replacement parts and process material requisitions promptly.
What skills and credentials are required?
- Passed the Electrician A Test.
- Proficiency with Siemens 840D and Step 7 or Fanuc controls.
- LOTO training and familiarity with high-voltage systems.
- 3+ years of electrician experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant military or school training accepted.
- Role-specific requirements: vision correctable to 20/40; able to lift more than 25 lbs; able to pass a hearing test; a Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate - Silver Status is required.
