Ultrasound QA Technician – Transducer Testing
Avante Health Solutions | Concord, NC 28027] | Full-Time | On-site
Detail-oriented and love getting it right? Be the final checkpoint before a probe goes back to patient care.
Every ultrasound probe that comes through our doors passes through QA twice: once when it arrives, and once before it leaves. - Assess image quality using test phantoms and OEM diagnostic software
- Check cables, connectors, and strain reliefs for damage and intermittent faults
- Verify bending and articulation function on TEE and other steerable probes
- Perform final release testing and sign off on QA documentation before shipment
- Return any unit that doesn’t pass to repair, with clear documentation of why
- Maintain test equipment calibration records and organized, audit-ready QA files
- Partner with intake, quoting, and repair teams to confirm defects and retest borderline units
