Job Title: Content & Social Media Specialist - France
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, self-motivated, and trend-savvy Content & Social Media Specialist with at least 3 to 4 years of experience (ideally coming from a creative agency or social agency background).
Reporting directly to the Deputy Senior Digital & Social Media Manager, you will be the driving force behind local French content production and social media operations. You will orchestrate local video shoots, manage social agency deliverables day-to-day, oversee e-reputation reporting, and actively monitor external EV/auto communities and forums to capture audience sentiment.
Key Responsibilities
Local Content Production & Brand Assets
- Local Video & Film Production: Drive the local creation and production of French video assets, vehicle showcases, test-drive footage, and localized brand content for XPENG vehicles with the support of production agencies
- Production Management: Lead creative briefs, shoot execution, external production crews (directors, videographers, photographers), and post-production workflows.
- Creative Direction: Continually pitch fresh, engaging formats tailored to the French market while maintaining XPENG’s premium AI/tech brand identity.
- DAM management : Manage the local assets platform
Social Media Management & Agency Coordination
- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day relationship with our social media agency on content calendars, local asset delivery, and community moderation guidelines.
- Social Trends & Formats: Stay ahead of social media trends, viral formats, and platform features (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.) to keep XPENG at the forefront of automotive social content.
CRM, E-Reputation, Listening & Forum Monitoring
- E-Reputation Reporting: Review and analyze e-reputation and social sentiment reports produced in partnership with our specialized monitoring agency.
- External Community Surveillance: Actively monitor automotive forums, EV user groups, Reddit threads, and external social communities to track brand perception, sentiment, and user discussions outside our owned channels.
- CRM & User Engagement — EDM campaigns, dormant user reactivation, APP community, launch communication
Operational & Budget Administration
- Financial Follow-Up: Manage administrative workflows related to content and social media activities, including purchase order (PO) creation, invoice tracking, and budget reconciliation.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Experience & Hard Skills:
- 3 to 4 years minimum of experience as a Project Manager or Content Lead in a creative/social agency or brand marketing team.
- Strong background in video production and creative project management (from briefing and shoot management to final delivery).
- Solid understanding of social media management tools, analytics platforms, and e-reputation monitoring tools.
- Automotive &/or Tech & innovation Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for cars, electric vehicles, or high-tech mobility is a huge plus.
Soft Skills & Mindset:
- Creative Engine & Idea Generator: Proactive, full of initiative, and constantly bringing fresh, innovative content concepts to the table.
- Organized & Self-Starter: Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple production timelines simultaneously, and deliver under tight deadlines.

- Languages: Fluent in both French and English (spoken & written).
