BYD is a global leader in new energy vehicles and sustainable technologies. As we continue expanding our operations, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Legal Analyst to provide legal support across corporate, commercial, after-sales, procurement, and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review general corporate correspondence, including company-wide formal letters and legal communications.
- Provide legal support on after-sales matters related to commercial and passenger vehicles.
- Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts related to Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
- Support the preparation and review of master agreements for procurement, supply of goods, and provision of services.
- Handle legal documentation related to customs and logistics operations, including waybills and other transportation instruments.
- Draft and review administrative contracts, including real estate lease agreements.
- Ensure all legal documents and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain proper organization and administration of contracts and legal documentation.
- Coordinate with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Aftersales teams to provide timely legal guidance and support.
- Identify potential legal risks and escalate significant matters to senior legal team members.
- Support senior lawyers in contract negotiations, regulatory matters, and dispute resolution processes.
- Follow up on ongoing legal matters to ensure timely execution and closure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, fully completed. Differente carreers will be not consider.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Corporate Law.
- Experience drafting and reviewing contracts and providing day-to-day legal support in a corporate environment is highly preferred.
- Background in corporate and commercial law, contract drafting, review, and administration., procurement and service agreements, customs and logistics documentation, contract management and document control systems.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
