About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Architect for a long-term assignment supporting a large-scale cloud and data center infrastructure environment in France.
The successful candidate will lead network architecture design, governance and optimization, ensuring high availability, security, scalability and operational excellence across complex infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve enterprise-grade data center and cloud network architectures.
- Define network architecture standards, technical guidelines and best practices.
- Lead architecture reviews and validate technical design decisions.
- Design and optimize routing, switching, network segmentation and load-balancing solutions.
- Support complex incident investigations, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity and operations teams.
- Contribute to network automation, infrastructure modernization and continuous improvement.
- Maintain architecture documentation and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture.
- 5+ years in data center, private cloud or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Strong expertise in BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, OSPF and VRF.
- Solid experience with Cisco Nexus, NX-OS and enterprise routing and switching.
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP, load balancing, WAF and network security.
- Good understanding of OpenStack networking (Neutron) and private cloud environments.
- Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience in high-availability, mission-critical and ITIL-governed environments.
- Professional English proficiency is mandatory. French is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP or CCIE certification.
- Experience with cloud networking, software-defined networking and multi-site architectures.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and network monitoring tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
