Tesla is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Manufacturing Quality Team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to both process development and equipment improvement. What You'll Do
Working on engineering trials and supporting engineering activities including process and equipment validationsOperate and troubleshot manufacturing processes through SPC or other data analysis Ensure process stability and quality of production output at assigned stationWrite and update Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Inspection InstructionsCollaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to sustain and improve on key process metricsAssist in running trials on the floor and creating fault injection samples Conduct preliminary investigations for the quality escalations and provide feedback to the QE
What You'll Bring
3+ yeas of experience in a pilot or production settingAble to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics as well as engineering drawingsKnowledge in CAD and GD&T is preferred Knowledge in SQL, DBeaver, Pyrthon, Jupyter Notebook Knowledge in basic material fabrications such as 3 axis mills and lathesKnowledge in MiniTab, JMP and proficient with Microsoft Excel and WordMust have command of the English language, both written and verbal
