A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Repair Order Management team lead, your day will focus on repair planning for domestic service centers, order execution, and customer delivery performance. You will provide direction, remove roadblocks, align priorities across functions, and ensure the team has the structure, tools, and support needed to execute consistently. This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to connect repair planning, order management, warehouse, procurement, logistics, and customer requirements into a clear execution plan.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Guide a team responsible for repair order management activities, ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and performance expectations.
- Oversee repair order execution from demand intake through completion, coordinating with operations, procurement, logistics, engineering, warehouse, logistics, suppliers, and customer-facing teams.
- Monitor workload, schedule adherence, material readiness, repair planning milestones, and delivery commitments to identify risks and drive timely escalation.
- Drive process discipline, standard work, data quality, and continuous improvement across repair planning and order management workflows.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to balance customer requirements, operational capacity, material availability, and business priorities.
- Support team performance reporting, issue resolution, talent development, cross-training, and succession planning within the function.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or other related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in repair planning, warehouse, order management, supply chain, procurement, operations, logistics, or a related industrial service environment.
- Prior experience leading people, coordinating team workload, or providing functional leadership in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems, with the ability to use data to manage priorities, identify constraints, and support decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, lead through change, resolve complex issues, and build effective partnerships across functions.
- Experience supporting gas turbine, rotating equipment, repair, aftermarket parts, or industrial service operations is preferred.
