Help keep power flowing by elevating the reliability and performance of CNC and process equipment for steam turbine manufacturing in a 24/7 environment.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot CNC machines, balance spin facilities, and manufacturing process equipment tied to the Steam Turbine product line.
- Lead cross-functional projects that integrate new systems and upgrades; coordinate with external vendors and internal teams.
- Analyze maintenance spend and lifecycle costs to determine repair, replace, or upgrade strategies.
- Implement reliability-centered and preventive maintenance programs for critical assets.
- Drive daily communication—manage shift turnovers, align with department managers, and author clear specifications and purchase requisitions.
- Develop vendor relationships for integrations and service; manage ongoing facility service partners.
- Share best practices with the team and provide occasional off-shift/call-in support.
What you bring
- AAS/BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related) or a comparable mix of experience, education, and certifications.
- 10+ years in manufacturing with expertise across CNCs, PLCs, and process equipment; highly experienced candidates may be considered at a higher grade.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis; AutoCAD or Siemens NX exposure preferred.
- Fluent professional English; excellent interpersonal and presentation skills across all levels.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~10%).
