Join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy as a Certified NDE Level II Technician! Imagine providing essential inspection services both during the manufacturing process and at final stages within our Charlotte Turbine Services. You will document your findings meticulously using Quality Control Instructions and SAP software, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards in our operations, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our gas turbine services.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will provide in-process and final inspection services, leveraging your minimum of 5 years of NDE experience to ensure quality at every stage.
- As a Level II certified technician in VT, MT, PT, UT, and PAUT, you will conduct critical inspections on GT rotor and compressor components, with RT & ET certifications as a valuable bonus.
- You will meet Siemens Energy Level II certification requirements through rigorous testing, providing objective evidence of your NDE method hours and certification documentation.
- You will take critical to quality (CTQ) dimensional measurements and document your findings in Quality Control Charts or presentations, ensuring clarity and compliance with specifications.
- You will validate NDE paperwork for accuracy in the Operation Information Landscape (OIL) and upload reports to Quality Notifications/Service Notifications (QN/SN) via SAP, while also creating Quality Notifications as needed.
What You Bring
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of the Career Readiness Certification mandated by Siemens.
- You must hold Level II certifications in VT, PT, MT, UT, and PAUT, with a specific requirement for PAUT to inspect GT rotor and compressor components; RT & ET certifications are a bonus.
- You bring at least 5 years of NDE experience in the Power Generation Industry, showcasing your expertise in gauging, drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Occasional travel may be required for this position, so flexibility is key.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
