Job Responsibilities
- New Vehicle Launch Spare Parts Preparation
- Track new vehicle project progress, ensure on-time release of vehicle SBOM and catalog drawings; complete data verification with a 98% integrity rate before market launch.
- Create and verify part data: launch part number creation requests for special components, and verify master data, prices and availability of shared parts.
- Develop and validate spare parts catalogues: import images and data into the spare parts catalogue system, cross-check data against production MBOM to finish verification.
- Generate recommended stocking lists: prepare initial order recommendation lists based on market vehicle stock volume, and set standards for customer concern tagging.
- Change Management & Spare Parts Catalogue Administration
- Review and process technical circulars: assess engineering changes raised by regional branches and R&D departments, update catalogue GEPC data per upstream technical requirements to form a closed-loop spare parts change management workflow.
- Define and split new spare parts: lead split definition for new assemblies generated by engineering changes.
- Support spare parts catalogue iteration and functional optimization.
- Release regular bulletins for catalogue updates and newly added service parts information.
- Spare Parts Master Data Management
- Establish unified control standards for spare parts master data, align GEPC, EPC and GDP data of all vehicle models; conduct centralized management of spare parts, premium accessories and tool data across product lines.
- Spare Parts Technical Support
- Audit service orders: identify incorrect part numbers in customer orders, confirm service information and provide feedback; revise catalogue data according to order audit results.
- Resolve order abnormalities: coordinate with upstream teams to solve customer ordering issues, analyze and optimize unreasonable service solutions.
- Provide technical consultation for dealers and customers: assist dealers in locating matching spare parts, push upstream teams to complete part number creation, procurement and prototype validation to meet market demands.
- Cross-functional Business Coordination
- Take charge of end-to-end delivery of the above 4 core modules; facilitate communication, escalation and resource alignment between Geely International Spare Parts Operations and Proton for all spare parts engineering matters.
- Coordinate internal resource allocation and cross-department collaboration within ASEAN subsidiaries.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
- Major: No major restrictions
- Language: Proficient English for daily business communication; fluent Mandarin is preferred for cross-border team alignment
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive spare parts business; candidates with overseas market experience or team management background are prioritized
- Certifications: No mandatory certificates required
Professional Skills
- Sound knowledge of vehicle structure, spare parts engineering data workflow and SBOM data process
- Skilled in full suite of office productivity software
- In-depth working experience with SAP, PLM and EPC systems
Personal Competencies
Strong logical analysis, stress tolerance, organization, coordination and cross-cultural communication capabilities, with commercial operation awareness
