Job Overview
Responsible for Malaysia local government relations maintenance, policy research, government filing & project approval, and securing industrial policy support for the company.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Establish and maintain regular communication with MITI, MIDA, Ministry of Transport and other Malaysian government departments
Build and maintain long-term, stable communication channels with key Malaysian government authorities, including MITI, MIDA, Ministry of Transport and other relevant bureaus, establish sustainable government relations.
✅ Monitor and interpret local industrial, taxation, labor and automotive access policies, update policy changes timely
Interpret and track local industrial policies, taxation regulations, labor laws and automotive market access policies, sort out policy updates, and deliver timely policy analysis and risk reminders to the internal team.
✅ Handle government filing, qualification application, project approval and other local administrative affairs
Responsible for local government filing, qualification application, project approval and other administrative affairs, ensure all business operations comply with local regulatory requirements.
✅ Coordinate daily government affairs, strive for industrial support policies and favorable business conditions
Coordinate daily government affairs communication, actively apply for industrial support policies, preferential incentives and business convenience conditions, and support the stable and long-term development of local business.
Requirements
✔ Bachelor degree or above, public administration, international relations, law and related majors preferred
✔ Basic understanding of Malaysian government work mechanism and industrial policies, relevant PR/GA experience is a plus
✔ Proficient in English for daily work, Bahasa Malaysia is a priority
✔ Excellent communication, coordination and execution skills, sensitive to policy information
