About the Role
Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, this is a fully onsite position to support a broader team, and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Office maintenance, ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the office environment, including the kitchen, printing room, and other areas.
- Procurement and Replenishment of office supplies including work stationery, and kitchen supplies.
- Liaise with external vendors to prepare office-related materials, such as business cards, workstation labels, etc.
- Company vehicle management, including facilitating vehicle lending process, returned vehicle inspection, charging & daily maintenance, investigation & allocation of fined cases, etc.
- Assisting the HR manager with company event planning and execution
- Facilitate the employees' onboarding & offboarding process with the HR manager, such as the access card preparation, laptop set-up, company asset registration, etc.
- Be the point of contact for the office facility installment and implementation, such as the EV charging post, the company landline, office furniture, etc.
- Office visitor greeting and log book record management.
- Coordinate ad-hoc administrative tasks required by the HQ.
- Raise payment application for office-related costs.
- Assist the HR manager with employee benefits and wellness programs.
- Arrange the business flight and accommodation occasionally as per request.
- Check the company PO box and arrange the parcel delivery when needed.
- Other various ad-hoc tasks are required by the HR manager as the business grows.
Key requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
- Proficient in email correspondence and reporting.
- Can-do attitude with the ability to multi-task.
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills.
- Able to learn from constructive feedback and improve accordingly.
- A desire to achieve and not afraid of taking on pressure.
- A great communicator who's able to collaborate with different internal & external stakeholders.
