About The Role

Macquarie Park, the Software Management Coordinator we are looking for is an organized and detail-oriented professional responsible for coordinating software version management and release activities across all BYD & DENZA vehicle lines, including Intelligent Cockpit, Intelligent Driving and other vehicle software.
The role monitors software iteration progress, coordinates software release plans with manufacturing schedules, manages OTA deployment activities, and ensures software versions for the ANZ markets remain up to date. This position works closely with HQ to support timely software releases, drives issue resolution, and ensures successful deployment and market implementation of software updates.
Key Responsibilities
Product Information Management
- Manage software versions across all software modules of BYD & DENZA vehicle models, ensuring the latest approved software is available and maintained for the ANZ market.
- Support Product Managers in monitoring key market requirements, validating critical software features, and ensuring software functionality meets local market expectations.
- Track key software development and iteration progress, driving factory software releases and market OTA deployment according to project timelines.
- Manage OTA software releases and support local testing and validation activities by coordinating testing resources and ensuring successful acceptance of software updates.
- Review and cross-check software change content and prepare OTA Bulletins for internal notification.
- Manage OTA rollout schedules by coordinating with HQ teams, organizing alignment meetings, confirming deployment plans for all vehicle models, and ensuring successful OTA releases.
- Monitor OTA performance and post-release issues, continuously track market feedback, and work with after-sales team to facilitate issue resolution and software improvements.
Process & Documentation Management
- Develop and maintain software version management trackers across software modules of all vehicle models, including key software changes and release history.
- Establish and maintain OTA management records, including software versions, release content, deployment schedules, and rollout status.
- Develop and maintain issue tracking logs to monitor software iteration status, OTA-related issues, and aftersales concerns, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Ensure all software management documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve software release and OTA management processes to enhance efficiency and align with local operational requirements.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a communication bridge between local teams and HQ to ensure alignment on software releases, OTA activities, priorities, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate cross-functional discussions and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
- Prepare regular software release status reports and management updates.
- Escalate software risks, issues, and dependencies when necessary to support timely decision-making and execution.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Degree qualification in Engineering, IT, Business Management or equivalent
- 3+ years' accumulative experience in working with technical product information.
- Understanding of the automotive industry is desirable.
- Experience supporting software release management activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with technical data.
- Strong communication (English & Mandarin) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
