Key Responsibilities:
- According to the company's strategy, conduct regional auto industry analysis and competitive product analysis, define company products, and formulate product development and upgrade requirements and make the accurate positioning strategy in the market.
- Define relevant new product model goals and plans, and control the progress and make a balance in ROl of the entire plan;
- Track the status of the product in the requirements analysis, development, test implementation and use phases, and pass customer requirements to development and testing.
- Based on the local user experience design concept, and user needs and product technical architecture, complete the product demands key points, and deliver the detailed R&D and design demands to the development and testing teams;
- Track the user feedback of products, collect and actively explore improvement needs, continuously improve products according to business needs and user feedback, and enhance user experience,
- Refine product selling points and competitive product benchmarking analysis to strengthen product competitive advantage.
- Establish interactive relationships with local mainstream media and KOLs to promote product marketing and attention.
- Responsible for the management of local certification work, and complete certification activities with the certification body.
Qualifications & requirements:
- At least 5+ years’ automotive experience (OEM experience preferred), preferably in a product planning/homologation role or equivalent experience in a commercial/technical role.
- Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and the conviction to influence and lead without direct authority.
- An ability to thrive in a creative, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- High level of computer literacy, mathematical and secondary data skills – Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint, JATO, Power BI etc.
- Remarkable attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, as well as strong organisational skills.
- Business travel will be required occasionally
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Engineering, Business or similar field is preferred.
