What To Expect
Tesla seeks an operations lead in the Service Operations department to drive systemic transformation of business processes. You’ll simplify complex warranty and compliance systems, eliminate redundancies, and design scalable solutions that balance customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and Tesla’s mission to accelerate sustainable transport. Your work will directly impact operational margins, customer loyalty, and our ability to mitigate risk while scaling alongside groundbreaking technology. A key part of this role involves collaborating with service field teams to test, refine, and launch new processes that drive compliance and operational consistency.
What You'll Do
Manage global warranty policies and redesign workflows to automate operations, reduce costs, and align with Tesla’s exponential growthStructure ambiguous scenarios into repeatable frameworks using first-principles thinkingResearch and lead development of vehicle Warranties, collaborating with legal, engineering, and finance teams. Leverage analytics tools to measure outcomes, track adherence, and scale systemic improvementsCollaborate directly with field teams to test new workflows, gather feedback, and ensure seamless adoption and adherence across all service locationsTranslate technical constraints or detailed regulations into actionable workflows for service field teamsPresent solutions to senior leadership, prioritizing compliance and operational guardrails based on risk and business impact. Conduct cost-benefit analyses and risk modeling to prioritize high-impact process changesDevelop processes to automate reporting, ensuring timely and accurate adherence of regulatory reporting requirements
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experienceSelf-starter and a quick learner who displays strong leadership skills Strong attention to detail, personal organization, collaboration, and time management Demonstrated experience with analytical decision-making such as conducting cost-benefit analysesExperience working in the automotive world, especially within Operations or Program Management organizations, with a passion for the technology, electric vehicle, and automotive industries. Experience with change-management methodologies and a proven track record of implementation Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment and navigate through an ambiguous environment; enjoy challenges. Comfortable working under ambiguous circumstances with a drive to provide structure to projects with no precedentAbility to travel up to 25% of the time

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
