What To Expect
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to drive category management for indirect commodities across all North America business units. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing strategies to provide Tesla with optimal supply assurance, pricing, and delivery performance.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies to achieve business objectivesAnalyze spend, purchasing trends, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvementManage RFI's, RFP's, and RFQ's to ensure commercial terms are agreed and documentedNegotiate and manage contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, general terms & conditions, and piece price agreementsDrive price negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and identify supplier consolidation opportunitiesContinuously drive cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through ad hoc price negotiations and supplier selection
What You'll Bring
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent experience5+ years of related experience in procurement, supply chain, or consultingStrong understanding of contract fundamentals and negotiationsSelf-starter with ability to adapt, improvise, and problem-solveProven track record of achieving and exceeding cost-reduction objectives

Expected Compensation
$82,800 - $151,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
