You will play a pivotal role in supporting our global Manufacturing and Engineering groups. Reporting to the Group Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing Injection Plastic Molding Manufacturing equipment and tooling for current and future production projects. What You'll Do
Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiatedCollaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to align equipment and tooling requirements with project goalsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring supply, quality, cost, and timely delivery targetsUtilize efficient project management methodologies for successful procurement outcomes and project timeline adherenceImplement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize total costs of ownership for Tesla and its customersNegotiate pricing, commercial terms, issue purchase orders, supporting cost management objectives, and design changes
What You'll Bring
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in Commercial Relations Management, Sourcing, Procurement, Program Management2+ years of experience in the Manufacturing IndustryUnderstanding of legal contract and commercial agreement fundamentalsExpertise in should-cost estimates, analyzing supplier proposals, and manufacturing cost breakdownsService-oriented mindset with a focus on internal customer needs with excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to travel up to 20% of the time

Expected Compensation
$82,800 - $189,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
