Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement OSHA programs
- Design and deliver safety trainings
- Investigate incidents and report
- Conduct safety audits and inspections and perform risk assessments
- Implement preventative measures and controls
- Develop and review emergency response plans
- Track/analyze and report safety data/KPIs and metrics
- Promote a safety conscious culture and plan/develop safety programs/initiatives
- Develop and maintain safety documentation and keep detailed, organized records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Korean language proficiency OR Spanish language proficiency (must have one of these)
- Proven work experience as a Safety Engineer or in a similar safety-related role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Ability to interpret safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Experience in designing and delivering OSHA programs and safety training programs
- Proficiency in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Familiarity with safety equipment and technologies used to enhance workplace safety
- Proficient in using safety-related software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and propose effective solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
