System Troubleshooting And Maintenance
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to vision hardware, including cameras, lighting, and wiring, and software;
Perform root cause analysis for image processing errors, detection failures, or false positives and negatives;
Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime;
Hardware And Software Upgrades And Modifications
Plan and execute upgrades to vision system components, such as cameras, lenses, lighting, and PC specifications;
Modify and optimize vision software programs using programing languages such as C and Visual Basic;
Implement system changes to accommodate new product models or updated inspection criteria;
Vision System Inspection And Calibration
Regularly inspect, calibrate, and verify system performance to ensure accurate and stable inspection results;
Conduct test runs and evaluate image quality and detection consistency;
Maintain documentation of inspection standards and calibration logs;
System Optimization And Continuous Improvement
Improve processing speed and cycle time of the vision system without compromising accuracy;
Enhance data consistency and system reliability through algorithm tuning and system redesign if necessary;
Collaborate with process engineers to adapt vision systems for evolving manufacturing needs;
Data Analysis And Reporting
Analyze inspection data to detect trends, common defects, and false detection patterns;
