Job Summary
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Program Manager will lead the successful and timely delivery of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and managing communication, risks, and process updates. This role requires operating effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while driving cross-functional initiatives and leveraging project management tools. Strong judgment, leadership, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to propose process improvements, analyze data, and prioritize competing priorities. Success in this role involves implementing scalable planning and execution mechanisms while fostering continuous improvement and influencing change across the organization.
Essential Duties
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure deliverables meet scope, quality, and timeline expectations.
- Oversee project documentation and ensure alignment with defined goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Track progress to ensure timely, on-budget execution of projects and programs.
Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
- Monitor potential roadblocks and initiate corrective actions to ensure continued progress and project success.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams to align project objectives and communicate progress.
- Provide regular, concise updates, reports, and dashboards to maintain transparency and support data-driven decisions.
Process Improvement & Leadership
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices and standardized project management methodologies.
- Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and process optimization across the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends and contribute to thought leadership in supply chain program management.

Qualifications

Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional supply chain or operations projects in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive results with limited oversight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication skills—able to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized with exceptional time management, multitasking, and resource planning capabilities.
- Demonstrated adaptability, resilience, and ability to work collaboratively across functions, including remote or matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in global and fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with logistics, procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Experience working across time zones and effectively collaborating with virtual, distributed teams.
- Proficiency with online collaboration and facilitation tools (e.g., Miro, MURAL, Confluence).
- Strong interest in program and portfolio management with a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Certification(s)
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certification
