Position Summary
Orange EV is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Sales Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be a primary data intelligence resource for the organization, but particularly for Revenue Operations, responsible for transforming our raw data into actionable business insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will lead efforts to improve our data infrastructure, implement robust analytics solutions, and support our upcoming Salesforce CRM implementation. This role requires a high level of confidence and comfort level to present business insights to Executives both internally and externally to customers.
Position Responsibilities
- Serve as the company's business intelligence analyst, with a particular focus on sales operations analytics and reporting
- Manage, consolidate, and analyze complex data from multiple Excel sources to produce accurate sales performance metrics and insights
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize key sales and business performance indicators
- Conduct detailed sales cycle analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Implement data quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all reporting
- Lead the data analytics aspects of our Salesforce CRM implementation, including report and dashboard creation, custom object development, and data integration
- Create executive-level presentations and reports, delivering data insights with clarity and confidence
- Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in sales data to optimize the sales process
- Develop automated data integration solutions using SQL to connect disparate data sources
- Design and implement automated data collection and processing workflows
- Integrate data from multiple sources into unified reporting systems
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership to improve business performance
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in business/data analysis roles, with significant focus on sales analytics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required), including complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including creating and maintaining interactive dashboards
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience connecting disparate data sources
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, particularly in reporting and analytics functions
- Excellent presentation skills and executive presence, able to communicate complex data insights clearly
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
- Microsoft Power BI certification
- SQL certification
- Salesforce certifications (particularly in analytics)
- Microsoft Excel certification
- Experience in the electric vehicle, heavy equipment, or transportation industry
- Knowledge of Jira for cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams
- Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field
