Position Summary
We’re seeking a full-time Senior Logistics Operations Specialist for our Los Angeles-based corporate office.
As the SHEIN Marketplace expands locally, providing prompt and reliable order fulfillment becomes vital for enhancing the overall customer experience. This position will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a white-label 3PL ecosystem, ensuring our partner logistics providers offer top-tier support to Marketplace sellers. By enabling merchants to focus on core operations rather than the complexities of fulfillment, you will help foster a seamless shopping experience for SHEIN’s customers. In close collaboration with various internal stakeholders, the Senior Logistics Operations Specialist will drive efficiency, maintain rigorous service levels, and contribute to the ongoing innovation of the SHEIN Marketplace.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish a Best-in-Class 3PL Ecosystem: Build and refine a white-label 3PL service by rigorously assessing and integrating logistics partners that meet SHEIN’s elevated service standards. Define clear SLAs, negotiate competitive terms, and align partner performance with strategic objectives to ensure efficient, reliable order fulfillment.
- Recruit and Empower Qualified Sellers: Attract top-tier merchants capable of elevating their fulfillment operations through our 3PL services. Provide exclusive incentives and comprehensive training—covering inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, and warehouse turnover—so these sellers can confidently transition from self-managed logistics to our integrated solution, thereby delivering superior customer experiences.
- Support Sellers Lacking Local Fulfillment Capabilities: Identify merchants who cannot independently manage local fulfillment and offer them tailored logistics solutions through our 3PL network. By alleviating the complexity of building their own infrastructure, you enable these sellers to achieve operational efficiency and heightened customer satisfaction.
- Optimize Fulfillment Processes: Lead ongoing initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce lead times, and minimize last-mile delivery costs. Leverage data-driven insights to refine operational procedures and uphold service levels that match or exceed those of industry-leading fulfillment models.
- Build a Local Delivery Mindset: Collaborate with cross-functional teams—particularly in US localization—to strengthen market perceptions of rapid, reliable delivery. Employ innovative delivery-time tags and targeted incentives to promote a customer-centric brand image that boosts both conversions and overall brand reputation.
- Monitor and Enhance Operational Performance: Continuously track key performance indicators—such as on-time delivery rates, inventory accuracy, and cost per shipment—and use these findings to inform strategic improvements. Your proactive approach ensures consistent lead times, optimal warehouse turnover, and sustained innovation in our logistics framework.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in e-commerce supply chain or logistics, with a solid history of building and managing 3PL programs.
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end fulfillment models, including domestic or international logistics considerations.
- Strong project management aptitude and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in cross-functional environments.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation (e.g., Excel), with the ability to convert metrics into actionable strategies.
