What To Expect
The People Content team is seeking an experienced Content Videographer and Producer to join us, based in Austin, Texas. You will be responsible for both creative and logistical aspects of video projects covering the full range of Tesla products, priorities, people teams, programs, and protocols. As a hands-on contributor from start to launch, you will research, write, film, produce, record and edit content (i.e., videos, photo shoots, podcasts, etc.). The role requires you to collaborate and build trust with stakeholders and manage high-impact situations. This is an opportunity to tell Tesla’s story and drive our message to help accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
What You'll Do
Research, write, film, direct, edit, and produce content that effectively serves business needs and communicates the concept to stakeholders and collaborators Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including managing feedback rounds. Coordinate interdepartmentally within Tesla to plan video or photo shoots Be effective with time and budget. Be capable of tackling a single day or multi-week production, locally as well as out of state and internationallyStrong ability to use modern video and audio recording and editing equipment to meet high-demand and creative video needs. Strong understanding of post-production processes, capable of taking a project from concept to completion Be able to work with resources available to ensure videos are completed on time and within budget maintaining Tesla’s video standards and advancing the unique Tesla brand and connection with our audience
What You'll Bring
8 - 10 years' experience in a videographer/producer/editor role at an agency, production company, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department advancing the business Highly creative, organized with attention to detail, able to carry multiple projects in parallel, a great communicator and has the ability to turn challenges into opportunities for growthSkilled in researching, writing, filming, editing, building relationships, and managing projectsStrong understanding of video, photography, design, and content principles and practices. Hands-on experience with operating a camera or other video/audio equipment is preferredComfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, being adaptable, and working in the office 5 days a weekPositive attitude with a bias for taking action and seeking feedback.
