What To Expect
Tesla’s Collision Repair department is looking for someone to join the Collision Repair Development Team as a Program Manager to support the repair and maintenance optimization of current and future Tesla products. As a Program Manager, you will help set the requirements and provide key feedback to Design and Engineering teams to enhance vehicle Collision Repair. You will interface with operations, finance, engineering, production, and global supply chain to define and drive this.
What You'll Do
Act as the primary liaison between Collision and Design, ensuring Collision Repair requirements are defined, communicated, and enforced across new and existing programsIdentify and forecast technician constraints using field experience, CAD reviews, and repair data; support improvements through business case developmentLead and support Collision Repair design initiatives to reduce complexity, improve turnaround time, and enhance technician safety and ergonomicsParticipate in vehicle integration meetings, prototype builds, and trials to assess repair feasibility and provide real-time feedbackMaintain Jira projects and progress trackers; deliver regular updates, highlight risks, and ensure alignment across stakeholdersAnalyze FRT, consumption data, and repairability trends to drive actionable improvements and innovation in Collision Repair processesAbility to travel internationally up to 25% and support any additional needs deemed necessary by the business
What You'll Bring
Degree or certificate preferred; equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional abilityExperience navigating ambiguous environments and shifting responsibilitiesMinimum 5 years experience in the collision fieldProven track record of implementing cross-functional initiatives and scaling businessesDetail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skillsRelentless drive and the ability to operate well in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentProficiency with common workplace software, JIRA experience or other relevant project management experience
