What To Expect
The primary responsibility of the Used Car organization is to ensure a smooth ownership transfer process for customers trading in their vehicle to offset the purchase of a new/used Tesla throughout the US.
As a Title Specialist, you are directly responsible for working closely with customers to obtain or re-execute missing or defective documents and following up with internal and/or external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies preventing us from transacting the trade-in vehicle. The Title Specialist identifies the issue and creates a case to track progress of the resolution. You will think critically and explore all avenues to resolve issues quickly, leaving no stone unturned in your quest for success.
We are looking for a team member who shines in a customer facing, administrative role and comes to work each day with a positive attitude. You learn fast, take directions well, maintain a hyper-focused workflow, and are highly organized. Title Specialists are the very core of the team and keep the entire trade-in and used vehicle business turning.
What You'll Do
Identify and address improperly executed documentation and specify required resolutions to quickly transfer ownershipEngage with customers directly to resolve missing paperwork concernsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve title-related issuesEstablish and maintain an organized filing system for physical documentation while also updating our internal digital systemsAcquire expertise in vehicle title transfer processes across all states, identifying solutions for process obstaclesRecord, generate and mail out titles and/or documentation to appropriate stakeholderProcess title reassignments, request checks for applications, and submit completed title applications to state DMVs across the country
What You'll Bring
2+ years of professional office experience, bachelor's degree preferredPrior experience in an administrative role, dealership, or vehicle titling is preferredStrongly detail-oriented and organizedIntermediate experience with Excel, Outlook, and WordNotary Designation is highly preferred, can be obtained after hire
