As a full-time Strategy Analyst at Aalberts integrated piping systems Americas, you will be responsible for running the strategy deployment cadence and the annual strategic planning cycle while supporting commercial strategy with pricing, customer and channel analysis, produce market and competitive intelligence, and build the data analysis behind strategy decisions.

your challenge
- Run the quarterly strategy review cycle end to end: X-matrix and Hoshin planning updates, initiative charters, Asana rollup, pre-reads and the decision log.
- Help functions tie their annual goals and initiatives to the Americas strategic priorities.
- Follow up initiative owners on the executive team between reviews; report status, slippage and gaps.
- Maintain the strategy roadmap and initiative portfolio records.
- Build the annual strategy deck and five-year plan submission from the Head of Strategy’s storyline, in the headquarters template.
- Reconcile the financials with FP&A, and bring in the operations chapters from the Director Operations Strategy.
- Prepare materials for executive strategy sessions, and own the planning timeline and version control.
- Analyze performance by segment, channel, customer and product to support commercial priorities.
- Work collaboratively with Pricing Director to assemble monthly pricing review pack
- Build and refresh strategic account dossiers for key customers.
- Produce the quarterly market outlook, the monthly macro update and earnings-call reviews of competitors and customers.
- Prepare industry deep-dives, competitor profiles and market maps for the executive team and the board.
- Operate and quality-check the team’s automated research workflows, and check AI-assisted output against source data before release.
- Maintain the strategy-side Power BI models: average selling price, market share and forecast.
- Build the monthly business review deck.
- Act as first responder on same-day CEO and headquarters requests: pull the data, draft the answer and format it to headquarters standard.
- Provide data analysis and market research to other functions on request, including acquisition screening.
- Document the team’s processes, workflows and runbooks, and keep them current.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by your manager.
requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Engineering.
- 3–5 years in corporate strategy, management consulting, FP&A, commercial or business analytics, or market research
- Strong analytical skills in Excel and a BI tool such as Power BI; can build a model or dashboard from raw data
- Fluent with generative AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT for research, analysis and presentation drafting; experience with AI-enabled workflows is a plus
- Executive-grade PowerPoint and written storyline; turns a rough narrative into a headquarters-ready deck without supervision
- Program coordination across multiple owners: has run a review cadence, followed up actions and kept a decision log
- Works at pace on same-day turnarounds with accuracy

- Hoshin, OKR or EOS strategy deployment experience
- Pricing, segment or channel analytics in a B2B business
- Able to create reliable data pipelines
- Market and competitive intelligence experience
- Power BI (DAX) or SQL; Python a plus
- Industrial, building products or distribution-channel background
- MBA, or progress toward one
