Job Summary:
This role manages vehicle safety homologation and regulatory compliance, including technical documentation, self-certification, and coordination with HQ, certification bodies, and government agencies. It also supports regular government inspections and CoP testing, while monitoring key regulatory updates and sharing relevant information with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Safety Homologation
- Prepare and review homologation-related documents such as technical data, test reports, and drawings.
- Verify vehicle compliance with applicable safety regulations
- Manage the self-certification process.
- Conduct communication related to vehicle homologation with headquarters, internal departments, testing and certification bodies, and dealers.
- Prepare and submit self-certification documents required by certification authorities.
- Carry out type approval tasks.
2. Handling of Regular Government Inspections
- Prepare and submit technical and certification documents for self-certification conformity inspections.
- Plan and coordinate the annual Conformity of Production (CoP) management schedule
- Plan and coordinate the Homologation Facility Audit for Type approval.
3. Regulation Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor key regulatory updates and policy trends related to the automotive industry.
- Share critical regulatory information with headquarters and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with government bodies, related agencies, and industry associations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Work experience in related industries such as commercial vehicles, passenger cars, or construction machinery.
- Preferential consideration for candidates with experience in vehicle regulations or import/export fields.
- Capable of communicating in English and Korean.
