Senior Cost Accounting Lead | Cleantech Scaleup | Austin, TX
Harmonic are excited to be partnering with one of the most closely watched cleantech businesses in the country, operating at the edge of power storage and power production and building the infrastructure that will underpin the next generation of American energy.
The business has just closed a massive fundraise valuing the company at 11 figures, backed by some of the most prominent venture investors around, and is scaling at a pace few infrastructure businesses ever reach: multiplying its physical production and deployment footprint many times over within the last year alone, with demand still running well ahead of supply.
As that growth continues, the business is building its cost accounting function from the ground up: the systems, policies and controls that will determine its most important unit economics as it scales into new markets.
The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on cost accounting leader who wants to build a function from scratch inside one of the fastest-scaling hardware companies in the country.
Reporting into finance leadership and partnering closely with operations, engineering and supply chain, this person owns the inputs behind the company's most important number, fully landed cost per kWh, and the systems and processes behind it from day one.
