This role is to serve as the on-site quality interface for final assembly electrical inspection. Responsible for EE issue resolution, cross-team collaboration closure, and software change management.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and resolve EE faults during final assembly electrical inspection; lead EE quality issue investigations; quickly respond to daily EE inspection anomalies and rework issues at Magna plant to maintain production flow.
2. Act as XPeng's dedicated EE quality interface; coordinate with Magna's production, inspection, and technical teams; align quality standards; track EE rework progress; drive daily issue closure on site.
3. Collaborate with domestic software and R&D teams to share EE fault data and reproduction scenarios; facilitate root cause analysis, solution development, implementation verification, and full lifecycle tracking from detection to closure.
4. Manage EE software version deployment at the contract manufacturer; oversee software updates and engineering changes through on-site validation and rollout; assess change quality risks to ensure compliance and correct implementation.
5. Establish an EE issue log; generate periodic quality reports; identify batch-level risks and drive preventive improvements; participate in on-site quality audits and execute EE quality enhancement actions.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Vehicle Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation, or related fields. 3+ years of experience in automotive final assembly EE quality, electrical inspection/debugging, or E/E engineering. OEM or Tier 1 experience preferred.
2. Familiar with vehicle EE architecture, final assembly electrical inspection process, and fault diagnosis logic. Knowledge of CAN/LIN bus and onboard diagnostic tools. Proficient in IATF 16949 and quality tools such as 8D and 5Why.
3. Understanding of automotive software version management and engineering change (ECR/ECO) processes. Experience in onboard software quality control is a plus.
4. Fluent in German as working language for local team communication; English for professional communication; Mandarin fluency preferred for efficient coordination with domestic teams.
5. Strong problem-solving, cross-cultural communication, and on-site execution skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced factory environment.
