What To Expect
As a Site & Civil Construction Project Manager, you will own overall construction site execution from groundbreaking through manufacturing readiness. You will build plans and execute on site setup and pad readiness, set priorities, and keep Contractors, Superintendents, and cross-functional partners locked on the critical path to factory ramp. This role demands a proven construction leader who has stood up mega-projects before, communicates with precision at the executive level, and leads from the field with extreme ownership.
What You'll Do
Development of project execution plans, site maps, schedules, estimates, & maintain budgetsPrepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reportsWrite Scopes of Work to send out request for procurement (RFP's), bid level, and select bidders for heavy civil and utility scopesReport site status, cost performance, schedule risk, and critical path exposure directly to leadershipEstablish and maintain site-level controls for progress reporting, risk management, change visibility, and recovery plansAlign Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Commissioning, and Operations around construction sequencingCoordinate with the project superintendents to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelinesCollaborate with the design team, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and drawingsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, and industry standardsTrack site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience7+ years of experience managing large construction projects in manufacturing or industrial environments specifically with heavy civil and site infrastructure executionStrong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocolsProficiency in project management software, design tools, and has excellent reporting experienceAbility to problem solve and make difficult decisions rooted in dataConfident in decision making ability and coordinating among key stakeholders
