Responsibilities:
- Partner Development – Secure partnerships with top-tier CPOs and eMSPs to ensure timely rollout of the branded charging network across target markets.
- V2G Business Expansion – Drive local V2G partnership development and deployment, ensuring commercially viable models across different European countries.
- Site Assessment & Screening – Evaluate and shortlist potential partner networks and sites against company standards, ensuring alignment with XPENG brand station requirements.
- Contract Management – Draft and review project-related agreements, including commercial contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and pricing documents.
- Project Management – Oversee end-to-end project execution for charging stations and energy storage systems in Australia and New Zealand: from initiation, design finalization, procurement/tendering (if applicable), construction progress and quality control, acceptance and handover, to ongoing operations and maintenance. Must be familiar with overseas charging station & ESS construction and management workflows, as well as local OEM/CPO brand network build standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- a. Maintain close communication with domestic and international teams to safeguard company interests, ensure process compliance, and keep budgets aligned with company standards.
- b. Establish smooth collaboration with local dealers to enable charging network support for new vehicle sales; work with International Sales and dealers to design and implement local charging benefit programs.
- c. Coordinate with local partners, property owners, and relevant authorities to address project issues and changes.
- Risk Management – Identify local compliance and project risks, escalate major issues promptly, and develop and execute contingency plans to protect company interests and ensure safe, on-schedule project delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above from a QS Top 100 university; Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Energy & Power Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in European OEM charging network expansion (e.g., Tesla, BYD, Aion, MG) or with a top 10 local CPO (e.g., EV Edge, Afcon, Sonol EVI) in expansion or operations roles.
- Solid knowledge of European regulations and construction standards; familiarity with public charging station application and construction procedures through relevant authorities.
- Local language and English proficiency as working languages; IELTS 7.0+ or equivalent certification required.
- Overseas project management experience; PMP certification preferred.
- Deep understanding of both Chinese and European cultures and work styles; ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders including partners, dealers, property owners, and internal teams.
- Strong existing network of local government or industry partners.
