Role SummaryRivian Service Support is seeking a Sr. Program Manager, Communications & Website Design, who will help drive and elevate our digital presence and messaging strategies. As the Program Manager, you will lead the end-to-end execution of cross-functional communications campaigns and web design initiatives, building scalable processes to optimize our digital user experience and field messaging.
This role requires exceptional cross-functional collaboration, a dynamic and resourceful leader with sharp attention to detail, and experience in taking both an analytical and creative approach to problem-solving. You must be flexible, organized, proactive in driving continuous improvement, and strategic in prioritization. In this role, you will combine a data-driven approach with creative strategy to manage key web projects, refine content workflows, and deliver impactful, clear communications across our digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities- Roadmap & Execution: Create, document, and maintain roadmaps for overall digital communications and website design projects, tracking execution from ideation to launch.
- Program Governance: Achieve program objectives through the effective application of program management principles within the confines of the scope, schedule, and budget defined by key stakeholders.
- Web Design & UX Operations: Coordinate web design life cycles, working alongside UI/UX designers, developers, and content creators to build seamless, user-centric web experiences.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure effective coordination among creative, technical, and operational teams by developing clear project plans, managing risk, and maintaining schedule adherence.
- System Expertise: Become a subject-matter expert in Rivian content management systems (CMS), digital asset tools, and analytics platforms to identify opportunities to streamline publishing and design workflows.
- Strategic Support: Support executive leadership with all strategic aspects of the digital communications portfolio, using qualitative feedback and quantitative data to guide prioritization and future site enhancements.
- Executive Reporting: Regularly advise senior management on campaign performance, website health metrics, and project status while proactively implementing corrective actions when risks arise.
- Process Optimization: Optimize digital initiatives by applying structured methodologies across Program Planning, Change Management, Risk Management, and Creative Operations.
- Integrated Marketing & Communications Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive program marketing and communications plans that align digital touchpoints, web design assets, and campaign messaging with broader business growth and engagement goals.
- Go-To-Market & Campaign Management: Lead the cross-functional execution of program marketing campaigns—from audience segmentation and positioning to launch execution across web, email, social, and field channels.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Program Management and/or Marketing.
- High proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and familiarity with web analytics and content management systems (CMS).
- Experience in creative operations, digital media, or web design workflows is a strong plus.
- Dynamic and resourceful leader with sharp attention to detail, a keen design eye, and a balance of analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to expertly document, track, and report on creative assets, site updates, and communication campaign metrics.
- Exceptional business acumen and the ability to deliver executive-level updates on technical and creative projects.
- Self-starter with the ability to solve complex digital challenges and manage competing design/content demands with minimal guidance.
- Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a strong desire to own and refine key operational and communication processes.
- Proven track record of executing multiple complex web design projects and high-visibility communication campaigns simultaneously from concept to completion.
- Strong communication skills—clear, precise, and persuasive across both technical (development) and non-technical (creative/business) audiences.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Pay DisclosureThe salary range for this role is USD 98,500-130,480 for Southern California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
