Summary of Position
The Dealer Business Manager (DBM) is responsible for leading XPeng’s sales operations within a designated district of a state office in Australia, driving dealer network performance, achieving sales targets, and managing inventory allocation. This role reports to the Regional Manager Australia and works collaboratively with the Regional Service Manager to ensure comprehensive market coverage and business growth. The DBM plays a critical role in dealer development, market expansion, and ensuring sales excellence across the assigned district to establish XPeng as a leading electric vehicle brand in the Australian market.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Sales Performance & Target Achievement
- Drive achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned district
- Implement district sales strategies aligned with Regional Manager’s objectives and regional business plans
- Monitor and analyze district sales performance metrics including volume, revenue, and market penetration
- Support initiatives to improve Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) and contribute to Net Promoter Score (NPS) enhancement
- Create and monitor monthly dealer sales targets within district aligned with regional objectives
- Support product pricing positioning strategy implementation within assigned district
Dealer Network Management & Development
- Manage day-to-day dealer performance and relationships within assigned district
- Support Regional Manager in dealer recruitment activities and network expansion initiatives
- Conduct regular dealer visits and performance coaching sessions
- Lead structured dealer engagement programs including monthly sales meetings
- Support dealer sales teams through training, coaching, and performance management
- Monitor dealer compliance with XPeng standards and operational requirements
- Identify and escalate dealer performance issues to Regional Manager with recommended corrective actions
District Inventory & Allocation Management
- Manage district-level inventory allocation in coordination with Regional Manager
- Monitor dealer stock levels, aging inventory, and turn rates within district
- Develop and implement dealer allocation plans ensuring optimal inventory distribution
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient vehicle distribution and delivery to dealers
- Respond to dealer inventory inquiries and requests with appropriate adjustments
- Monitor order status and adjust for inventory imbalances across district dealers
- Provide district inventory forecasts to support regional production planning
Market Development & Sales Initiatives
- Drive market share growth within assigned district through targeted sales strategies
- Support implementation of regional sales campaigns and promotional activities
- Monitor local competitor activities and market dynamics to identify opportunities
- Coordinate district-level sales events and customer experience initiatives
- Support new model introduction activities and dealer preparation programs
- Analyze district market trends and provide insights to Regional Manager
Business Policy Implementation & Incentive Programs
- Implement regional business policies and dealer incentive programs within district
- Support dealer understanding and execution of sales policies and promotional campaigns
- Monitor dealer participation in incentive programs and promotional activities
- Recommend district-specific sales initiatives to Regional Manager based on market conditions
- Support pricing strategies and promotional campaigns aligned with regional objectives
Customer Satisfaction & Case Resolution
- Support district-level customer satisfaction improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with Regional Service Manager on customer case escalations requiring cross-functional support
- Monitor dealer Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) performance and implement improvement actions
- Support dealer teams in handling customer inquiries and resolving sales-related issues
- Ensure timely resolution of customer escalations in collaboration with relevant teams
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Regional Service Manager on dealer support and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with ANZ Marketing Manager on district-level marketing and promotional activities
- Collaborate with ANZ Logistics Manager on inventory planning and vehicle distribution
- Work with Regional Manager on strategic initiatives and performance improvement programs
- Support coordination with ANZ headquarters teams on dealer development and market expansion
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular performance reports to Regional Manager on district sales metrics
- Report on dealer performance, market conditions, and competitive environment updates
- Attend regional sales meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions
- Communicate district sales activity planning and execution status to Regional Manager
- Maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders on sales performance
