Position Overview
As the key IT contact, you will serve as the critical bridge between the HQ IT development team and the local business units. Your primary responsibility is to deeply understand local business needs and work closely with the HQ team to ensure the systems developed at headquarters effectively support the operations and growth of the local business. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive industry business systems in the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis: Act as the primary IT point of contact for local business departments to collect, analyze, and clarify business requirements. Translate these into clear, standardized documentation for the HQ IT development team.
- Project Management: Assist the HQ IT team in managing system enhancement projects for the local market. Track project progress, coordinate local resources for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and drive projects to timely completion.
- System Application & Support: Be responsible for the promotion, user training, and advanced daily support of core business systems (e.g., DMS, CRM) locally, ensuring their effective use.
- Business Process Optimization: Identify and suggest opportunities for improving local business processes by leveraging the capabilities of IT systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Operations Coordination: Serve as the first line of support for local system issues, collaborating with the HQ IT operations team to resolve complex technical problems and ensure system stability.
- Local Operations and Maintenance: Manage local IT infrastructure, networks, systems, equipment, assets, etc.;
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with an automotive industry background; must be familiar with the business processes and applications of the automotive industry in the local market, including DMS, CRM, ERP etc.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to act as an effective bridge between business and technical teams.
- Strong project management and business requirements analysis skills, those with PMP certificate are preferred
- Fluency in English and French as working languages, preferably Chinese.
- Strong self-learning ability and initiative, capable of handling local IT matters independently with support from headquarters.
