Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing Execution
- Execute retail marketing campaigns to drive showroom traffic, test drives, and customer inquiries across Malaysia dealer network.
- Support implementation of national and regional retail promotion plans at dealership level.
- Coordinate retail campaign rollout to ensure consistent execution across all dealers.
Dealer Marketing Support
- Work closely with dealers to support local marketing activities, including showroom promotions, in-store events, and weekend campaigns.
- Provide retail marketing materials such as posters, POSM, digital assets, and promotional toolkits to dealers.
- Ensure dealers follow brand guidelines and retail marketing standards.
- Support underperforming dealers with targeted retail activation plans.
Lead Generation & Conversion Support
- Support retail lead generation initiatives through online-to-offline (O2O) campaigns.
- Work with digital marketing team to ensure leads are properly distributed to dealers.
- Monitor dealer follow-up performance and support improvement initiatives for lead conversion.
- Track retail campaign effectiveness in terms of inquiries, test drives, and sales conversion.
Local Market Activation
- Plan and execute local retail activation activities such as roadshows, mall events, pop-up displays, and weekend sales campaigns.
- Support new model launches at dealership level with retail-focused activation programs.
- Coordinate event logistics, materials, and on-ground execution with dealers and vendors.
Retail Performance Monitoring
- Monitor retail performance metrics including showroom traffic, test drive rates, and retail sales performance.
- Analyze basic retail campaign effectiveness and provide feedback for optimization.
- Identify opportunities to improve retail execution at dealer level.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, PR, and Dealer Network teams to support retail execution.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for retail campaign materials and event execution.
- Support headquarters and local teams in aligning retail marketing strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive retail marketing, dealer marketing, or sales support roles.
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and automotive retail environment in Malaysia.
- Experience in planning and executing retail campaigns, showroom promotions, or automotive events.
- Strong coordination, communication, and execution skills.
- Basic understanding of lead management and retail conversion processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple dealer accounts simultaneously.
- Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia is required. Mandarin is an advantage.
- Willing to travel frequently within Malaysia.
