Role Overview
As the Online Engagement & Social Media Manager for the Benelux region, you will be the driving force behind our community growth and digital interaction. Your primary mission is threefold: significantly lift our social media fanbase, supercharge audience engagement, and optimize website and homepage performance to convert digital traffic into high-quality sales leads.
You will translate global brand directives into high-impact, interactive online campaigns. You will ensure our audience does not just hear about XPENG, but actively converses with us, acting as the digital engine that fuels online buzz and drives traffic to our physical XPENG Centers and local agent networks.
Key Responsibilities
Social Channel Fanbase Uplift & Content
- Drive Audience Growth: Develop and execute aggressive acquisition strategies to rapidly grow our follower base across key Benelux social channels (focusing on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok).
- Produce Interactive Content: Create and curate highly shareable, localized multimedia content (Reels, TikToks, interactive polls, and livestreams) designed to spark conversations and viral reach.
- Track Digital Trends: Monitor emerging platform features, algorithm changes, and digital trends to maximize organic reach and maintain cultural relevance.
Online Community Engagement
- Build Relationships: Manage daily interactions with followers, brand advocates, and EV enthusiasts to foster a loyal, highly active online community.
- Spur Conversions: Turn passive followers into active brand champions and prospective buyers through interactive Q&As, exclusive sneak peeks, and digital activations.
- Manage Reputation: Monitor online sentiment and respond swiftly to public feedback or queries in close coordination with the Head of Marketing & PR.
Homepage & Website Performance Optimization
- Optimize Homepage Experience: Own the performance of the local Benelux homepages, ensuring clear messaging, intuitive visual hierarchy, and frictionless user flows that immediately capture visitor interest.
- Improve User Experience: Analyze user behavior across all local digital touchpoints to identify navigation friction points and optimize the digital customer journey.
- Boost Conversion Rates: Redesign and optimize local landing pages and homepage modules to increase critical conversion rates, such as test-drive bookings and vehicle configurations.
- Enhance SEO & Traffic: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to drive high-quality organic traffic to the homepage and deep pages via optimized copy and search engine best practices.
Data Analysis & Testing
- Track Performance: Deliver weekly and monthly analytical reports tracking engagement rates, audience growth metrics, and web/homepage KPIs (e.g., bounce rates, scroll depth, CTR, and lead attribution).
- Run A/B Tests: Continuously experiment with homepage content formats, website layouts, and calls-to-action (CTAs) to refine performance based on data.
What We Are Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in community management, social media audience growth, and digital web marketing. Experience in consumer tech, premium lifestyle, or the automotive/EV sector is highly preferred.
- Web Expertise: Demonstrated experience in auditing, updating, and driving performance improvements specifically on website homepages and high-traffic landing pages.
- Languages: Native or professional fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory. Professional command of French is a strong asset for covering the Belgian market.
- Technical Savvy: Experience with social listening tools, social analytics platforms, and web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, or equivalent). Basic mobile video editing skills (CapCut/Premiere) are essential.
