Responsibilities
1. Tax Compliance
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly and annual tax returns, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes, and other applicable taxes in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting through the applicable tax administration systems.
- Monitor tax payment schedules and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
2. Tax Accounting & Reconciliation
- Prepare monthly tax reconciliations between accounting records and tax reports.
- Support the preparation of tax provisions and deferred tax calculations in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Review general ledger accounts related to taxes and identify potential discrepancies.
3. Tax Audit & Tax Authority Liaison
- Support tax audits, tax examinations, and tax refund processes by preparing required documentation and explanations.
- Coordinate with tax authorities and external tax consultants regarding tax compliance matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and tax records to support audit requirements.
4. Regulatory Monitoring
- Monitor developments in Indonesian tax regulations and assess their impact on company operations.
- Provide updates and recommendations to management regarding regulatory changes.
5. Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure tax compliance across business activities.
- Support business initiatives, contracts, and projects by providing tax-related assessments and recommendations.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in: Accounting Fiscal / Administration/ Taxation/ Finance/ Economics
- 3-5 years of experience in a multinational company (PMA), manufacturing company, or tax consulting firm.
- Experienced in tax audits, tax health checks, VAT refunds, and tax compliance reviews.
- Familiar with SAP and Coretax implementation.
- Capable of supporting operational tax compliance activities.
- Professional tax certifications (Brevet A & B) are required.
- Brevet C certification is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and tax administration requirements.
- Knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) related to taxation.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin is an advantage
