Key Responsibilities:
1. Port-to-Factory Logistics & 3PL Management
- Manage end-to-end logistics from port to factory, including tracking shipments and evaluating third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Assess 3PL performance regularly and drive continuous improvement.
2. Transportation Planning & Warehouse Operations
- Develop transportation plans aligned with shipping schedules and production plans.
- Oversee external warehouses or depots, ensuring efficient storage and material flow.
- Track in-transit shipments, manage overdue or delayed containers, and resolve related issues promptly.
3. Supplier Qualification & Inventory Control
- Support battery supplier qualification assessments and monitor contract fulfillment.
- Control and manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand.
4. Cost Management & Reconciliation
- Manage logistics costs, perform daily reconciliation, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
5. Customs Clearance & Compliance
- Assist in compiling import customs clearance documentation.
- Handle customs declaration anomalies, track clearance status, and analyze the impact of changes in national customs policies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above
2. 5+ years of relevant experience in a mainstream joint venture, independent automotive OEM, or large logistics firm.
3. Familiar with local logistics operations in Indonesia; fluent in English (listening, reading, and writing).
4. Strong communication skills, ability to leverage upstream and downstream resources, high sense of responsibility, execution capability, and resilience under pressure.
