Job Summary
The Head of Sales Training at BYD Indonesia plays a pivotal role in shaping the knowledge and skills of our workforce within the automotive industry. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive training programs and strategies, overseeing the operational management of training projects, and leading the creation and maintenance of localized training procedures. The Head of Training will also be responsible for establishing a systematic curriculum tailored to the Indonesian market, continuously updating and improving its content, and recruiting and nurturing a pool of qualified part-time instructors. Additionally, they will gather and analyze business cases and training-related questions to create shared learning resources, regularly provide insights on the local market to headquarters, and carry out other tasks as assigned by senior management.
Key Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive training plans and strategies aligned with BYD Indonesia's business objectives.
- Oversee the successful operation and management of all training programs, ensuring efficient delivery and measurable impact.
- Lead the creation and implementation of standardized local training policies and procedures for consistent training quality.
- Design and develop a systematic training curriculum tailored to the Indonesian market, continuously updating and improving course content.
- Identify, recruit, and nurture a pool of qualified part-time instructors, building a robust and sustainable instructor network.
- Gather and analyze business cases, training inquiries, and best practices to create valuable shared learning resources.
- Continuously provide headquarters with insightful information and feedback on the Indonesian market, identifying training needs and trends.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Language-related fields preferred.
- At least 8 years experiences in the automotive industry and 5 years of experience in automotive training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong business acumen and ability to identify and analyze training needs.
- Proficient in MS Office, video editing, AI tools, and other training-related software.
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- TTT (Train the Trainer) certification preferred.
