The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and developing the dealer network for VinFast's E-Scooter business within the assigned region. This role will lead sales execution, dealer performance management, market expansion initiatives, and customer acquisition programs to achieve business targets and strengthen VinFast's position in the electric mobility market.
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with VinFast's business objectives and growth plans.
- Deliver sales volume, revenue, and market share targets for the E-Scooter business.
- Identify new business opportunities and growth initiatives within the assigned region.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support commercial decision-making.
2. Dealer Network Development & Management
- Develop, expand, and optimize the regional dealer and distributor network.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new dealer partners in line with expansion plans.
- Monitor dealer performance and implement action plans to improve sales effectiveness and profitability.
- Ensure dealer compliance with VinFast operational, branding, and customer experience standards.
3. Sales Operations & Performance Management
- Drive retail and wholesale sales performance across the region.
- Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance tracking mechanisms for dealers and sales teams.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations.
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and inventory planning in collaboration with Supply Chain and Operations teams.
4. Market Expansion & Customer Acquisition
- Execute regional go-to-market initiatives and product launch activities.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to implement customer acquisition, lead generation, and promotional campaigns.
- Support the development of strategic partnerships to accelerate market penetration and brand awareness.
- Identify new channels and opportunities to increase customer reach and sales conversion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience
- Proven experience managing dealer/distributor networks and regional sales operations.
- Experience in automotive, motorcycles, electric vehicles, consumer electronics, mobility, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong track record of delivering sales growth and market expansion.
