【Job Position: EHS Engineer in BYD Fót Battery factory】
【Location: Fót, Pest, Hungary】
Your Tasks:
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health protection, and fire safety laws, regulations, standards, and norms.
- Deliver occupational safety, health, and fire safety training sessions; prepare training materials.
- Perform general safety inspections.
- Prepare EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) reports.
- Maintain contact with Fire and Environmental Protection Authorities.
- Support the selection of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Supervise contractors and provide on-site EHS training for them.
- Coordinate waste management activities; handle, store, and manage hazardous materials; maintain records and documentation.
- Responsible for preparing EHS documentation in compliance with Hungarian legal requirements (e.g., chemical inventories, inspection records for special equipment)
- Lead the preparation for internal and external audits (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Oversee Safety Month activities, emergency response procedures, evacuation drills, and fire safety training.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Proficiency in English.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in the EHS field (experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage).
- Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong sense of integrity and excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong on-site insight and attention to detail.
