Tesla is looking for a Paint Technician to work on one of the most progressive, innovative vehicle brands
in the world. The Paint Technician is responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs to vehicle
bodywork, ensuring all work meets our manufacturer standards and customer expectations.
What You'll Do
Learn and understand Tesla systems and processesHave a comprehensive understanding of industry EHS requirementsUnderstand Body Repair processesBe able to identify different substrates utilised in vehicle productionUndertake the relevant preparation on vehicle substrates within the refinish processIdentify paint defects and root causesPerform cosmetic repairs to steel, aluminium and plastic componentsApply panel sealers and stone guard protection on relevant areasApplication of primers, surfacers, single stage basecoats and clear coatsHold a clear understanding of colour fundamentals and be able to mix recipes to required accuraciesPossess the ability to develop and have the willingness to grow within the role and industryWork closely with peers to maintain standards and consistency with day-to-day operations of the BodyshopPerform other related duties as assigned by Location Management
What You'll Bring
Previous experience as a Bodyshop Technician ideally 3 yrs+Ability to learn in a fast-paced progressive environmentA clear understanding of health & safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environmentAbility to communicate effectively and respectfully. Fluent in [local language] and English.Required to hold a valid Driver’s licenseEligible: to work in UK
